Looking for a great read? Have you heard about "The Girl's Still Got It" by Liz Curtis Higgs? This is the story of Ruth, brought to you like never before. It’s more fun, playful and relatable thanks to the style of writing by Higgs. It’s friendly, funny and written just for women. Through 12 chapters, Higgs takes us through the story of Ruth – a true rags-to-riches story. It’s also a story of redemption and divine providence as we go through her amazing story.

Having just read this chapter in my bible class, heard it in the sermon on Sunday, and watched the movie based on it, I was so excited to see it from another perspective.

The book is very reader friendly and the format would be great to do in a ladies class at church and with girlfriends. Martin relates well to the reader and comes across genuinely. It's a great story written in a fresh point of view. I've always heard that the Bible has some of the best stories in it but sometimes they are hard to understand. Higgs brings this classic story into a more relatable manner that I loved. I am definitely recommending this to my friends. To go even deeper into the story, each chapter has discussion questions and a study guide.
