Five Question Friday #5QF
TGIF! Here are today's Q&A's!
YWM: A great view. Nothing like having a beautiful room with nothing to look at outside. Two out of our three past two stays had a great view of downtown Atlanta and downtown Austin!
2. Which Olympic event would you be best at?YWM: Track. Most of my day is spent chasing after my child and speed cleaning.
3. What's your stance on the Chick-fil-A subject?
YWM: Touchy subject. I haven't watched the interview in full but from the clips I've seen and quotes I've read there are my thoughts. I feel that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. We also have the right to disagree with some one else's beliefs, in a respectful manner. I've seen more hateful comments towards Christian bloggers this week than EVER and it really is sad. I'm blessed that none of this has spilled over into my blog, fan page or Twitter. Part of being a blogger is allowing yourself to be open with the world, anyone and everyone who comes across your blog. It's a community and not one that should be torn down by this controversy.
I am a Christian with same-sex married friends. I may not support their choice but respect them none the less. I don't push my beliefs on them and I don't love them any less. They don't call me hateful for my beliefs either. It's respect and love.
Chick-fil-a is a company based on the values of the Bible. Everyone knows they are closed Sundays because of their strict stance on religion. I just wonder how we would think that their stance on this would be any less strictly religious based and yet they are bashed for it. I feel like we already knew the answer before it was asked.
The media is making so much off of this in ratings, page views, marketing, etc. Who's the real entity we should be mad at?

4. One thing you said you'd never do as a parent, but totally have.YWM: Let my child stay up late. She's a night owl no matter what we try!
5. What's the weirdest thing you've ever found at a yard sale?
5. What's the weirdest thing you've ever found at a yard sale?
YWM: I've never been to one as an adult and I can't remember anything in particular as a child.
That's it for today. Feel free to leave your answers to these questions in the comments below. If you have a blog, join in the fun and head over here.
