Heaven welcomed my grandma March 2010. My daughter was only 7 months when she her for the first time in the hospital, a few days before she passed. It was on her deathbed that I presented my baby girl to grandma, until the nurses recommended she'd not be in there. They'd only seen pictures of each other. Grandma couldn't see or speak, but I know she was happy on the inside.

Grandma lived several states away. We didn't have the money or transportation to see her. I often envy those family members that took that for granted. She did meet my husband though, and he got her approval, which meant the world to me. 

The little one knows this is her great grandma. She points to her picture and talks about her as if they've spent more than those few minutes together. Warms my heart. 

Today would have been Grandma's 75th birthday on earth and I know the angels and family gone before are celebrating with her in heaven today.
