#Easter Craft: Egg Dye Paint
Today we dyed our dozen Easter eggs and had so much leftover dye. I hated to just pour it out so the idea of paint came to mind.
I poured out half the dye from each cup and added flour 1 tablespoon at a time until it reached a consistency I liked. For my toddler, I made it thick like finger paint, but it could be as thin as water paint depending on the person using it.
I saved the egg carton and cut it in half. To prevent the paint from going through the carton I layered the two halves. For brushes, we just used cotton swabs from the cabinet. Add some newspaper to cover your workspace.
Surprisingly the paint has been coming off our hands easily with baby wipes. Since this is made with dye, take care not to get it on other surfaces.
Well, I guess I'd better get back to painting with the little one. Take care!
