Our {Not So} Wordless Wednesday - Bahama Mama
No not the drink...but I was a Mama in the Bahamas a week and a half ago! This trip was in celebration of our 2nd Wedding Anniversary and was also very special since we did not have a honeymoon. So this was our Late-Honeymoon/Anniversary/Valentines all-in-one present {*giggles!*}

We took a cruise over the weekend to Nassau, Bahamas and the Great Stirrup Cay island. This was a trip of firsts for us including:
- cruise,
- trip outside the US (I've been to Canada but that was just a drive over the bridge when we lived in upstate NY),
- trip to the Caribbean,
- riding scooters (in Nassau),
- beach party
- room together (or hotel room)
- comedy show
- spotlighted dance in front of a crowd (don't ask lol)
- extended time away from the little one
Plus a lot of food firsts:
- Red Snapper
- Mahi-Mahi
- Polenta
- Escargot
- Roquefort Cheese
- Raw Salmon
- Conch - (had it in chowder and raw)
- Souffle
- Panna Cotta (only thing did not like)
So I know you're wondering...Yes we were very frugal on the cruise. We took advantage of all the free amenities on the ship. The fine dining meals we ate for dinner were included. We drank ice water the trip but it was well needed with all the heat there. We spent only on the scooter rental, lunch on the island, 2 for 1 drinks and minimal souvenirs. I'm looking forward to the next one!
P.S. - HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY!! "ooxxooXoXXx" {~Nacho Libre}
